Rules & Regs
A joining fee of £10 & and annual membership fee of £15 pa will cover costs at the moment (initial total of £25) with a bit spare for something else.
The website will be put together so that it showcases our pictures,
further amendments as and when… (this is the third incarnation already).
Meetings are the last Thursday of the month at 20:00 (or before for the real drinkers), dates and subject as per the home page.
Submissions should be made by 23:00 on the Sunday prior to the last Thursday of the month
Voting takes place between the Monday and the Wednesday – rate each picture out of 5 stars where 5 stars is excellent
There are no major rules other than the following…
- it doesn’t matter what camera you use.
- you can manipulate the picture (as long as you do it!).
- it must be digitally submitted.
- a good sense of humour is a must
- the picture MUST be yours.
- you may enter 3 pictures per month / subject.
- you can not vote for your own picture(s).
- each picture should be rated as follows…..
1 star min for each picture
2 stars if you think its ok
3 stars if you like it
4 stars if you like it a lot
5 stars if you love it
If you could re size the pictures to a max of 768 pixels high that would really help to save space on the server and the image opening time too
The winner…. gets a home page position, possibly a certifiicate constructed by Phil (that is if he is feeling creative, which hasnt happened in a very long time!) and the great honour of choosing the next venue and a subject for approx. 6 months in advance.
there was talk of trophies… however the “dicc of the month” idea a member had was censored by their partner… however watch this space, who knows!
